 Job Title: Engineering Operations Director
 Salary: £100k package

 Job Description:

The company is seeking an Engineering Operations Director to head the local engineering team. The function of the team is to provide specification, design and cost proposals for a range of complex integrated electronic security systems. Post contract award, the support team will provide technical procurement, supply chain management and specialist supplier liaison support. The Director will head a team of committed design engineers, whose role is to understand the requirements of the client and produce compliant systems designs using the principles of best value engineering. The role will encompass sign off responsibility for all technical bid content.



Candidate Profile:

As a senior role in the region you will need to be a self starter, with experience in region and:

    • Understanding project finance , demonstrating clearly your experience
    •  Financial astuteness demonstrating margin control
    • Experienced in supporting engineering sales processes
    • Have overseen the commencement and technical development of project plans
    • Whilst the preference is for a degree education the proven commercial experience of the applicant will be more weighted
    • A military background would be advantageous but commercial experience in a conflict region would counter balance that
The Remuneration:

 

Whilst the role will be single person status , living accommodation is to the highest western standards  available .  There  is medical insurance , contribution to flights home although there is a requirement for frequent travel out of region. In addition to an attractive  basic salary , bonus payments are 30% of the annualised profit .  As this is a long term appointment there will be an opportunity to become an equity holder in the business.

 Job Description:

The position will take responsibility for a number of countries (Including United Kingdom, Ireland, Poland & South Africa) You will coordinate and drive Anti Piracy enforcement efforts as well as specialist work on enforcement activities to penetrate and dismantle Internet source groups closed communities etc. Our client is a very exciting organisation to work for and is considered to be a leading body in the world of Anti Piracy enforcement. You will oversee liaise and manage the relationship with local offices in selected territories. The role is mainly to support the local offices in content protection, with main focus on consultation and co-ordination. Apart from the operational responsibility, we are looking for an individual with technical competence to focus on source piracy investigations including screen leaks, top sites and release groups. 



Candidate Profile:


In general, we are looking for someone with international scope and experience in managing operations on the ground. Someone that is "technically / internet savvy" and can adapt to environment where more and more operations are internet focused (including ISP outreach, content recognition technology, various content distribution platforms such as news groups). Experienced in working with Agencies such as Europol and Interpol is advantageous. Possibly you may have a Law Enforcement background within cyber crime / Internet Investigations but we are very keen that this person has gained experience with a commercial organisation where diplomacies and sensitivities are key to winning hearts & minds. Applicants from the commercial sector with considerable experience of managing online Anti Piracy Strategy but with strong hands on Investigations experience in this highly specialist area are preferred. Position will be based in Belgium and we would consider this to be a local appointment therefore applicants must be prepared to live and work in Belgium.

 

 

 Job Title: Security Manager
 Salary: Corporate Package
 Location: Hong Kong
 Job Description: Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with Global Corporate security, insurance and risk standards, local/international laws and regulations
• Monitor, reach and advise on general security developments and specific security incidents. Act as a focal point for out of hours security advice and assistance, and take necessary steps to resolve emergency situations
• Provide security risk assessment, give advice and support to management on solutions to mitigate / manage security threats and risks that fit with business objectives
• Provide support and advice to business projects including design / specification and project management of security systems installations at new office locations
• Review and implement security policies, plans, procedures and trainings on a regular basis to deal with the possible range of threats
• Promote security awareness and instil a culture of collective and individual responsibilities for practicing good security at all times
• Manage all aspects of manned guarding / protection operations, including external contractors.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies.
• Conduct risk assessment surveys in Asia as directed
• Comply with and contribute to company's Health and Safety policy

Candidate Profile:



Minimum 8 years of solid experience in corporate security and prior experience in the Hong Kong Police Force is preferred
• Sound knowledge of security risk assessment and management, security management, security planning and preventative security measures
• Working knowledge and experience of alarm systems, CCTV, access control and fire
• Proven investigative ability
• Risk assessment and security survey experience
• High level of personal integrity
• Demonstrated strategic mindset and analytical skills
• Proactive, resourceful and self-motivated
• Multi-tasked skills with high attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure and act decisively in unpredictable situations
• Excellent interpersonal skills; strong negotiator and consensus builder with the ability to buy in from stakeholders
