    To lead the Western Europe fraud management capability for the countries operations in Spain, acting as the principal point of contact for Senior Executives, Risk Director, and the operation throughout Western Europe. The role covers the management of all fraud risks across the business.

    Provide strategic direction, operational management, MI & analytics, control testing & monitoring and training for the ongoing management of fraud risk across the region.

    Accountable for oversight and governance of fraud risk, ensuring compliance with the requirements detailed in Group Policy and Frameworks, including the management of the Spanish Fraud Oversight Committee.

    Lead the fraud management change agenda by ensuring delivery of appropriate fraud management systems.

    Drive capability improvements in the business to deliver world class fraud management standards within the business.

    Provide leadership, development and strategic focus for Spain, covering all types of fraud risk.

    Responsible for the management of the fraud Principle Risk in Spain.

     

Key Accountabilities

Fraud Risk Management 75%

    Lead the Western Europe fraud management capability for Spain, acting as the principal point of contact for Senior Management / Executives and Western Europe. The role covers the management of all fraud risks across the business.

    Responsible for the level 2 fraud principal risk under the Group’s Principal Risk Policy on behalf of the Risk Director. This includes full accountability for improving standards across Spain.

    Accountable for the development, implementation and communication of the fraud management strategy, for managing fraud across Spain, including the agreement of appetite and management of losses. To include the development of short and medium terms plans and the securing of the necessary financial resources for the implementation of solutions.

    In conjunction with Senior Management / Executives, Western Europe and Operational Risk, identify and take appropriate action to mitigate developing and potential risks in relation to fraud.

    Proactively liaise and support the development of Business Unit led policy and strategy initiatives. Accountable for implementation and embedding of the Group Fraud Policy’s and Framework across Spain.

    Manage the implementation of fit for purpose fraud solutions across Spain.

    Team Leadership 25%

    Create and articulate a compelling vision, incorporating strategic goals and short- and medium-term priorities. Inspire and drive high performance in individuals and team, enabling each member to understand his/her role in team success.

    Set clear, challenging and stretching objectives with a concrete focus on business results, guiding principles and continual development. Monitor and review objectives with team members on a regular basis, providing the necessary resources and support.

    Ensure that timely and constructive feedback and coaching is provided to all team members, allowing them to grow and fulfill their potential. Proactively create and/or identify appropriate performance interventions for high and low performers.

The right candidate for this role would be firstly innovative. You will have to understand UK CCTV standards, have an in-depth knowledge of Electro-Mechanical, servo driven technology. You must be able to design with all the up to date design software, such as Solid Edge.
The right candidate will need to have the ability to manage a team of 4-5 people, to keep the products ahead of the competition and in essence improve on an already first class product.

Group Audit & Loss Prevention Manager

 Salary: Package to £100k

 Job Description:

Responsible for managing the Audit & Loss Prevention functions across all sites of the business.

 
Accountable for the introduction of agreed strategies, that will limit cash loss and fraud across the business. 


The production of a strategic plan for fraud & loss prevention ensuring that current controls, reporting, detection systems are in place and in line with the current Group Policy & Strategy for eliminating fraud & loss from the business.


To manage the Fraud Investigations teams, the Cash loss Investigation teams’ and audit teams’ across the business.


To ensure that all three functions act in a coherent & coordinated way, ensuring expediency and efficiency in how loss & fraud are detected, reported and eliminated across the business.
To support and lead eliminating loss & fraud by ensuring that systems, controls and reports are at the cutting edge within the retail industry.


This role is a highly analytical and will require a great deal of lateral thinking to devise and deliver business controls/reports that are intricate and sophisticated in nature but basic in execution for detecting, reporting and eliminating fraud and loss.



Candidate Profile:



The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a busy retail environment a qualified professional Accountant either ACA or ACCA
Well versed in both retail audit & loss prevention techniques and how they can be utilised to enhance the retail function of the business.


You will posses excellent managerial skills and will be proactive in developing and promoting your team. You will have the ability to work using your own initiative as well as leading and working with others in the team.


You will have a keen awareness of the current technologies and prevention/detection techniques coupled with experience of fraud, cash theft and loss investigation in the retail environment.


Articulate and an excellent communicator with the ability to summarise the most sophisticated fraudulent techniques in a simple & coherent manner.


Has the ability to ensure that all avenues and lines of enquiry are fully exhausted, especially in the face of challenge from suspected individuals and their networks.


Has a confident professional persona , whilst courteous at all times, demonstrating tact and initiative with the ability to investigate thoroughly and expediently.


A methodical approach with attention to detail and an ability to assess, analyse, plan, and monitor a variety of tasks at once, staying ahead of the business needs.
