 Job Description:

With a solid background in microwave communication networks supporting land mobile radio and security systems, the Project Manager will be expected to successfully deliver, within time and budget, to the client’s satisfaction.

 

In order to lead the project the successful candidate must have a strong understanding of microwave communication networks, supporting land mobile radio systems

  • Lead the team in the design and implementation of custom engineered microwave communication systems.
  • Manage assigned projects to their successful delivery within time and in budget and to the clients satisfaction
  • Management and supervision of all project staff including Engineers and administrative staff
  • Management and ownership of the implementation plan and project procedures
  • Preparing and managing weekly and monthly reports to the Programme Manager
  • Management of all sub-contractors to coordinate successful and timely delivery of Project Implementation Plan  
  • Cost management of the project to drive a low cost and high profit margin
  • Identifying and hiring, in conjunction with support functions and Programme Manager, suitable (technically and experienced) project team within defined cost parameters.  Assign individual responsibilities.
  • Ensuring that all parties are supplied with relevant and timely information
  • Identifying specific risks associated with executing the planned activities
  • Overseeing and managing schedules for each phase of work
  • Record the impact of work performed and not performed as schedule; interface with client to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems
  • Design, implement and manage quality assurance protocols
  • Identify business development and "add-on" sales opportunities


Candidate Profile:

 

 

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the installation and testing of electronic components and systems used to transmit and receive microwave.
  • Site surveying of remotely located microwave towers and base stations
  • Range and path loss analysis, multipath and fade margin analysis, modulation technique selection and signal coverage Link Budget analysis.
  • Possesses experience in the areas of radio, microwave, avionics, data management, application programming, database and system design and installation.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Mission Command and Control transmission networks, Command Centre Displays and Archiving requirements.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Command and Control project management and project life cycles
  • Experience in field quality assurance processes
  • Excellent presentation written and verbal communication for direct interface and negotiations with the Client.
  • In depth understanding of avionics Type Certification requirements, Certification Planning, Airworthiness, Inspections and Flight Testing.

 

 

 Job Title: Country Manager
 Salary:

$90,000 USD net of Tax (reviewed after 6 months) plus benefits package to include performance bonus, family medical package, flights home for self and spouse. With mileage, telephone and entertainment allowance.

 Job Description:

The Country Manager (CM) oversees all aspects of business in Kenya. All department heads including Branch Managers, Project Managers and Heads of Department report to the CM.
The CM is responsible for maintaining a smooth flow of work between Departments and for resolving interdepartmental conflicts. The CM ensures that the Country stays on schedule with regard to Financial Targets, Service Delivery and Operational Efficiency.  Responsible for the preparation and delivery of the country’s budget, representing the company as a member of the Kenya Security Industry Association and also the Eastern Africa Association in Kenya.

 Job Description: A rapidly growing Logistics & Distribution organisation, You will manage and support the co-ordination of all security activities within Distribution function & Implement the organisation’s strategy to reduce loss. Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate may come from a Police or Military background, with working knowledge or Criminal law (PACE / RIPA / POCA) Investigative Interviewing and evidence gathering. Civil law – Employment law, civil court process. Crime prevention & ability to work closely with Home Office law enforcement agencies. General Skills expected : Understanding of the organisation’s supply chain requirements; Man management skills including time management;Excellent influencing and communications skills, both internally and externally; Ability to enthuse and develop people; Ability to prioritise workload; Ability to analyse information; In depth knowledge of security equipment, CCTV, Access Control; Commercial awareness within the organization; Negotiating skills; Understanding other departments requirements; Presentation skills.
