Interview Techniques

LOOK THE PART
Talk with our consultants to establish the accepted dress code. If necessary, you could observe this by visiting the office to collect a brochure or report. This may help give you an insight into the company culture.

PREPARE IN ADVANCE
If the meeting point is in an area you are unfamiliar with, plan your journey time. Do not arrive too early and certainly do not arrive late.

Questions you MAY be asked at interview
1. Where do you currently work?
2. What is your salary/hourly rate?
3. Describe 3 key tasks.
4. You will be given a scenario - please be articulate. Think carefully about your
answer and then give your answer slowly and confidently.
5. Why do you wish to leave your current position?
6. In a perfect world what would you ideal job be?
7. What attracted you to the advertised position? (if applicable)
8. What courses/training have you undertaken?
9. Give an example of how you give good customer service at work.
10. Describe a time you had to deal with a complaint.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE IMPORTANT

REMEMBER The interview should be a two way conversation.

Be the candidate that appeared prepared, competent, confident and compatible.

GOOD LUCK!
